Planetary Tarot Spread

As mentioned in previous posts, fortune-teller Madame Luna is debutting the American art world with a collaboration show with Sunny J. She will use the Tarot cards designed by Sunny to do a reading of her and produce a drawing (drawings) based on her vision.

After lengthy discussions, Sunny and Luna agreed on using the 8-card Planetary spread to do the reading.

The Planetary Spread works with the seven classical planets of ancient astrology. Another wonderful thing about this spread is it’s simplicity. Each planet has it’s own magickal association that can be added to the meaning of each tarot card in it’s position. For example, if The Magician is in the Moon position, it can indicate an increase of psychic awareness and a revealing of hidden knowledge.

The cards are laid out clockwise in a circular pattern, with the first card at top/center. Their positions in order are: Moon, Mercury, Venus, Sun, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn. The final, 8th card shows the ultimate answer to the question asked, or a general outcome of the reading.
